Logline: A chronically single and cynical woman in her 30s is given 3 months to find a boyfriend to secure a plus one to her baby sister’s wedding.

Lizzie studied screenwriting through UCLA Extension Writer’s Program. She has written several solo spec scripts and two spec feature films with her writing partner that are heartwarming, relatable, character-driven comedies mimicking real-life family dynamics, diversity and personal struggles. 

 

“The Volleyball Movie: Rick Dawson Spikes Back” was a Semifinalist in the 2024 Screencraft Comedy Competition and The Script Lab Screenplay contest and a Quarterfinalist in the 2023 PAGE International Screenwriting Awards Competition and WeScreenplay Feature Lab. It was also ranked in the top 2% of all projects and comedy projects on Coverfly and the top 3% of Feature and Feature Comedy projects.
